Our security assessment program provides the following services:

  • External Penetration Testing
  • Server Security Assessment

Security Posture Assessment

The Security Posture Assessment is an evaluation of the current security environment, any key deficiencies in the security program, and recommended improvements based upon industry standard best practices.

Get a comprehensive assessment of your OPO’s overall security position and a prioritized report based on risk to the organization with recommended actions for remediation.

Specific areas of focus include:
  • Password and Account Management
  • Patch Management
  • Virus Protection
  • Systems Administration
  • System Back-Up
  • Infrastructure Security
  • Security Policies and Procedures

Penetration Testing

How safe are you from hackers? The Penetration Testing service provides an external vulnerability test of your network infrastructure.

TII takes the perspective of an attacker with little or no knowledge of your internal network. This test simulates the average intruder on the Internet attempting to penetrate the outer security perimeter and gain unauthorized access to your critical assets.

Penetration Testing Services include:
  • Attempt to penetrate perimeter security (router, firewall, IDS) via the Internet
  • DNS/Internet registry interrogation
  • OS footprinting to determine vulnerabilities
  • Port scanning to determine port, protocol and application mix
  • Evaluation of intranet and extranet connections.

During the evaluation, TII personnel will gather specific information that will be used to produce a report outlining the findings and document any discovered vulnerabilities You will also receive recommendations for improving the overall security posture.

Server Security Assessment

TII offers a Windows server security audit service designed to furnish OPOs with plans to improve the overall effectiveness of server-related security issues.

This tool helps you determine your security state in accordance with Microsoft’s standard security recommendations. The server assessment is used to detect common security misconfigurations and missing security updates on the operating system of Windowsbased server systems. Specific remediation guidance is offered based on the results.
