  • INTERMACS Registry Team Lead--RN Submit Resume

    TII seeks an INTERMACS Registry Team Lead to plan, direct, and perform activities related to the management of INTERMACS (Interagency Registry for Mechanically Assisted Circulatory Support). The candidate acts as the primary clinical resource regarding INTERMACS data issues. The candidate collaborates in the ongoing strategic planning and development of the registry with regard to design and functionality; performs testing on all new components or revisions to the existing application, with special attention to clinical interpretation. The INTERMACS Lead is responsible for meeting ongoing training requirements per contract specifications; develop an audit; schedule and conduct on-site audits. Four-year degree in nursing. Licensed in Virginia to practice as a Registered Nurse. Experience in surgical nursing with cardiac transplantation and/or cardiac device experience highly preferred. Five years experience in healthcare with proven experience in data and personnel management (government contract familiarity highly preferred). Demonstrated expertise in customer service and project management. Strength in oral presentation skills, extensive and high level written communication skills. Extensive experience in PC word processing, graphics and database software for collection of medical data for research purposes.
